The structure was improved and made more precious by tapestries with coat of arms, old paintings, ancient busts, valuable pieces of furniture and authentic 18th century chandeliers and wall lamps.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5900 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/margaretharrell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Contemporaries-of-Uffizi-cropped-Harrell-232x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"232\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/margaretharrell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Contemporaries-of-Uffizi-cropped-Harrell-232x300.jpg 232w, https:\/\/margaretharrell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Contemporaries-of-Uffizi-cropped-Harrell.jpg 583w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 232px) 100vw, 232px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Photo-Painting: <span style=\"color: #000000;\">I<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">n\u00a0<\/span>beginning cloud photography in the 1990s, I\u00a0hoped to create &#8220;Photo Painting&#8221;; that is,\u00a0my film images\u00a0looked to me\u00a0like paintings in the sky, bringing to life dreams from ten years earlier, of animated cloud scenes.\u00a0What do you think? When we talk about landscapes, we imagine them in an ordinary way, structured with order that follows the rules of reality. Here, instead, we have a totally new perspective that is mind blowing to\u00a0 the spectator, offering a new point of view from which to observe what surrounds us, \u00a0to find the real inner beauty of things.<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>\u00a0A technically talented artist . . .\u00a0reproducing an intense inner moment\u00a0of solitude, alone with the sky and the clouds. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The inclusion plaque\u00a0(translated roughly from the Italian) mentions &#8220;the elevated stylistic composition of her work. . . .\u00a0A big thank you for this artistic contribution.&#8221; I say a big thank you back! I always loved Italy, loved Florence the two times I was there, and now love it even more.
