The above letter, page 1,\u00a0came in the late fall.\u00a0Hunter was visiting his friend David Pierce in the Bay Area and we had just talked on the phone for hours. I&#8217;d still not met him in person but had met recently met David, who reported back to Hunter and even teased him a bit abou the situation.
